The Fist of Odin's official charter


Article I: Mission
The Fist of Odin (hereafter known as The Fist) values integrity and friendship over ingame success. This is shown by the existence of The Fist since August 1999 in when a small group of RL friends started the alliance in an unrelated game. Our goal is for our members to have a fun and relaxed gaming environment and we expect out members to treat each other with common courtesy and respect. Within this framework The Fist shall strive to become the best players we can be, in times of peace and in times of war.
 
Article II: Structure
The Fist recognizes that any alliance is only as good as the members. We therefore make a commitment to provide a sound structure to allow for the training and development of our members.
Members:
Members are players who have entered the alliance but are still in training. After the member has proven responsive to training and shown the ability to be dependable to The Fist, that member shall become a Veteran.
Veterans:
Veterans are members of The Fist whose loyalty is unquestioned. Veterans are relied upon to help shape the direction that The Fist will take and are counted on as the heart and soul of the alliance.

 President:
The President is the head of the alliance and responsible for the development of the alliance. The President's primary responsibility is to shape and arbitrate alliance strategy discussions amongst the Veterans to reach a consensus. Once the President decides a consensus has been reached, he/she is responsible for taking any actions necessary to implement it.
Vice President:
The Vice President exists to support the actions of the President and, if needed, assume the Presidency.

Foreign Affairs:
The FA is the external link to other alliances. The FA handles all official issues that deal with other alliances and executes foreign policy as directed by the President.
Internal Affairs:
The IA organizes Trade Circles and Training within the alliance. The IA shall also designate a recruiter who is tasked with identifying potential members who would fit in well with the The Fist ethos.
